Delete your account

How to delete your Joey account and the notes it synced. If you never made an account, your notes are only on your device and are deleted with the app.

01In the app

  1. Open Joey and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm with Delete.

02If you can't use the app

Email support@tomodevelops.com from your account's address and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.

03What gets deleted

  • Your account (email address, Apple or Google sign-in)
  • Notes synced to our server, with their weight units and edit times
  • The Joey Pro status stored on our server
  • Notification addresses (push tokens) linked to the account

This can't be undone. Save a backup from Settings first if you want to keep your log.

04What stays

  • Notes on your device, until you delete the app.
  • Purchase records, kept by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat for as long as their terms and tax and accounting law require.
  • Crash reports (90 days) and usage counts (1 year). They aren't linked to your account and are deleted when that time is up.

Deleting the account doesn't cancel a yearly plan. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
